Same here, crashed 3 times in one hour on PS4 after installing update, going through the arduous process of reinstalling the game and all the dlc to go for my 4th attempt, not holding my breath though.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play gameplay. I have found there is no specific trigger after running through multiple save games / game play options.
What happens when the bug occurs? During usual gameplay game freezes, crashes and error code (CE-34878-0) pops up. I am then asked to close the game
What do you expect to see? I expect to play my game without it crashing
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Latest patch, installed today 10th November at 18:40, finished by 19:00 first glitch occurred at 19:08

Same for me. Installed the latest update and the game crashed twice during normal gameplay. No specific trigger. Game crashed twice in an hour. Please fix this
Mine just crashed after loading my game on PS4 in build mode. They should test the updates thoroughly before sending them out to everyone.
This is an issue they need to fix fast, it’s happening on all platforms. In 3 days they have their last expansion pack coming out, if this isn’t a fixed issue I don’t see a lot of people purchasing something they can not play. 😠
I have EVERY pack, and I have literally uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game THREE times today on my PS4. (Also, I have played this game with my saved files and without, yet I still get CE-34878-0 on my screen). I have NEVER had this issue with the Sims 4 until I downloaded the new Version 1.33. I even tried playing the Sims 4 w/out the newest update (of course, I knew I wouldn’t be able to play but I had to try anything). This is ridiculous, I am not getting assistance from any forum or chat to find what else I can do. It’s on live or build mode, it’s so random when my PS4 crashes.
Same here my game crashed like 3 times a hour I have to constantly make sure that I saved so I don't lose anything started happening right after the November update I paid alot of money for these games and it shouldn't be crashing so much to where it's completely unplayable I'm pissed especially with the new pack for the game I was looking forward to it...I really wish that they would ACTUALLY FIX THE GAME INSTEAD OF MAKING NEW GAME PACKS

Just installed snowy escape that i had pre ordered. The crashing continues even with the new DLC.
