I'm on my fourth attempt to start a new game and have it save but I have no faith. My game was fine for almost a year and then out of nowhere, deleted after I tried to save. Game over for me too. I even tried deleting other saved data to make room thinking that was the problem so I lost other game data. Aggravating.
I’ve been having the same issue, I’ve redone families 4 times this week & remade my whole cities and then it crashes and I lose everything. Now the newest revelation is that my game isn’t saving at all when I hit ‘save’ or ‘save as’ or through auto save... & I’m so detail oriented that I put so much time into picking out everything so if I have to do this again I really don’t think I’m playing again & I want a refund for the freaking $300 I’ve spent on add ons that only glitch the game more. I’ve tried to contact sims directly but no one ever gets back to you.
im having a similar issue, whenever i try to save , it will say saving but then the screen will just black out and go to the xbox dashboard and ill lose everything. Sometimes it will black out whenever it wants while im playing the game as well and im really getting annoyed about it. Its like EA havent thought about the amount of content theyve put into one game and its lagging and causing saving issues 😡😡😡
Same here. Game won't save and current game erased. Th is happened a few months ago after one of the updates but the new game played fine until last week. Just gone one day and the new games won't save. Error code 0. Xbox 1.
Exactly!!! Same here it's such a waste of a game that has the best potential in my opinion 😤😤😤 No one who pays for this game should have to worry about if I'm not gonna be able to save it, that should just be a given. I don't want a refund but I need them to fix this problem like two weeks ago! This has been happening to me for the past five days!! (November 2019) So frustrating
I have error 22. No saves for a week. All those expansion and game packs! I miss my Sim families!
Still having save issues. Game won't save and games just disappear from load screen. Weird things are also happening. Any updates to the lot are lost once I travel. I started a new game and placed a house on the lot and when I came back the whole house was gone!! This happens everytime i place a house or try to edit the lot. I was having issues with the Sims just getting stuck changing clothes. There are so many bugs in this game now it's ridiculous. All the money spent and it's unplayable. What is EA doing to fix It?
Also wanted to add 5hat when I go to manage worlds to save the game, it does let me, but when I try to load the game, it's gone even though it supposedly saved it.
As of January 21st 2020 I'm having the same exact problem 2 days ago I lost a new character house I just built spent so much time and effort on this house it's ridiculous just for it to say that I can't save it I also got the error code 0 for Xbox One S. So after I lost the first house I decided okay I'll just start a whole new family and guess what I come back from work to find out that my game save is completely gone!!! Now I'm terrified to even start a new house because what if I spend all that time working on the lot and the family and then I can't save it this is the third time that this is happening within 3 days. Mind you I bought all the packs. So basically a $300 game that I can't even play? EA definitely needs to do something about this fast before they lose money and a lot of it. I will definitely be looking for a full refund if this isn't fixed very soon

How the heck is this marked as solved when the guy from the original post came on the very next day to say the solution posted did NOT solve the problem? Does EA do anything about the problems mentioned in these dang posts? I’ve seen threads dating back years, all with the same problems. Everytime the same solutions are offered, clearly they don’t work as people keep posting they don’t work. Stop giving us the same steps, stop telling us to make new posts, and make a dang patch to fix these problems! I highly recommend to everyone, to STOP buying EA products. When EA profits start to shrink, maybe they will reevaluate themselves and start producing content that actually works.
