Anybody else on ps5 with this problem? My settings reset every time I open it. The music is okay, but I've been listening to the intro theme for too long. None of the settings I place are kept. If this is a bug caused by the latest update, I kind of want to point a finger. But I'd rather have The Sims4 try to compete with the upcoming Inzoi game. Lack of configurable options is making the game unbearable.
I am writing to report a persistent and extremely frustrating issue on The Sims 4. All of my settings reset to default when opening the game. Said settings include audio, graphics, controls, every setting available actually. I have tried multiple workarounds, including duplicating saves, deleting configuration files, and moving the game to internal storage, yet the problem persists. This bug is more than a minor inconvenience, it reflects how you see your player base. Given that multiple users have reported this problem on forums this appears to be a widespread issue, resulting from the recent patch or updates. With upcoming releases like Inzoi and Battlefield 6 on the horizon this kind of basic functionality bug reflects poorly on EA and is unacceptable. I urge you to prioritize a fix as players should not have to jump through hoops just to preserve their game settings.
I've just started muting my TV when I load up cause usually I have all the sound settings set to about 50/55% and the UI size on console, can't believe how big it is by default, takes up most of the screen and the load screen plumbobs are massive and so is my sim in the icon at the bottom in live mode makes her look like she's got a giant head 😂 it's a weird bug though cause I have to set the in game sounds, control overlay, mood sting, trail animation, ui size and cursor size and speed but the help centre /tutorial stuff was reset the first time this started happening and it hasn't reverted since then, so that's saving my preferences but all the others aren't 🤔
