I apologize in advance if this has been posted, but I have read through so many threads with no success. I feel like I'm completely missing something or just SOL. I hadn't played Sims 4 for awhile, but decided to again to mix up my quarantine routine. Bundles were discounted, so I bought Discover University, Outdoor Retreat, and Perfect Patio. I installed via Origin, and while create a sim works fine, as soon as I load into a household (or just shortly after) the game crashes/closes.
I have tried moving the folder to the desktop, uninstalling and reinstalling, playing in windowed mode, playing offline/no wifi, clearing the tray, and deleting some cache files. Today I was prompted to re-install everything (I hadn't tried playing since purchasing around April 1st or 2nd). I even switched the files/game to an external hard drive.
I do not have any mods or custom content (to my knowledge). I am at such a loss and very frustrated as I want to play. I'm worried my Mac isn't up-to-date for Discover University.
