Hi there I’ve been having the same problem. 
I’ve got a 2012 MacBook 

macOS Monterey 

Version 12.4

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012)

processor 2.5 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5

Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Startup Disk Macintosh HDD

Graphics Display 3 MB

it was working the other day and then when I went back into it it just sent the message 

I’ve reset my Mac 

Repaired Sims 

uninstalled and reinstall Origin and Sims 

Clean Bot

Do you see a lastCrash file in \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\?

If so, can you share this file?
