It's actually much better and has been improved in patches. Your game is modded. Please try a clean game with a new Sims 4 folder and then post a LastCrash report if it still happens.

@Bluebellflora Is is that the MacOS Monterey is not compatible with mods? That's very frustrating and really shouldn't be the case.

No of course not but you need to try a clean game. Mods are in the game, not the operating system.

If you still encounter the crash with an empty Mods folder, would you be willing to share your affected save files?
