All of my Save games are deleted and IDK why. help

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? I just got it 3 days ago
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? dogs and cats and the holiday pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? idk
What happens when the bug occurs? there is no option for me to load my saved games anymore it wants me to restart completely
What do you expect to see? I can't play my saved games because the game deleted them

I spent a super long time building a house and making characters and literally have spent the past couple days playing, and i tried downloading a costume mode and now all my saved games are gone. It wants me to restart completely. I tried doing the thing where you change the saved folder document and it's still not working. someone help.
