Audio Cracking/Popping When Loading or Music is Playing (M1 MacBook Air)

    I found a solution. No promises that it'll work for everybody, but it seems to be working for me. Open the Audio MIDI Setup app (should be under Other in Launchpad), click the Format dropdown, and change it to 96,000 Hz. I don't know why this worked, but I'm not having any crackling anymore.

    Same here - M1 MacBook Pro 11.2 Big Sur. Audio cracking and popping generally throughout gameplay. 

    Should we be expecting a fix?
