Buildmode items remaining highlighted

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I recently installed my game onto a new computer and all items from add-ons are highlighted every time I enter buildmode even after using the items.
What happens when the bug occurs? Items remain highlighted after use.
What do you expect to see? Items to not be highlighted.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
Items are staying highlighted, if I use an item the highlight removes itself but if I close build mode and reopen it, all items are highlighted again.
@Harriet_HA Could you try moving this file somewhere else: ReticulatedSplinesView or renaming it and then start the game. The game will then create a new and you need to redo the highlights but hopefully afterwards they will properly stick.
