can i delete thumbnails.package?
hello all -
i had to delete and reinstall my whole game because i somehow had a duplicate. when i downloaded the new one i have a lot of thumbnails.package and clientfullbuild0.package, clientfullbuild1.package and clientfullbuild2.package. from my understanding the clientfullbuilds are important for eps.
i am trying to clear up space on my computer and both types of files are using a lot of storage. can i delete thumbnails.package? i see people talking about localthumbcache but i don’t know if the two are related. i am on a mac! thank you in advance! :)
critterie You shouldn't delete any game files. Anything you delete there won't stay deleted anyway as the next time there is an update or you run a repair, they will be replaced. And the probability that you'll break the game the next time you try to play is pretty high.
There are a few things you safely can delete in your documents/The Sims 4. You can delete all everything in the screenshots folder. You can also delete individual saves but that should be done within the game.
