Can I stop the sims 4 from uploading to my 'Documents' folder?
I like adding Custom content but it builds up and takes a lot of my own computer storage so I bought a flash drive and I planned on moving everything sims including all of my saves files and where my custom content is onto the drive. I have been stuck on trying to move the 'Documents' folder on Mac to my drive. I just want my saves and electronic arts files and all of that to just go somewhere else that's on my drive. Please tell me its possible.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to move your saves and Mods folders to another location. The Sims 4 user files need to stay in your Documents folder so the game can find them when you open it.
Have you considered using the flash drive to store other content that you might not use that often and none of your programs need to run properly? 🙂
