can't find save files

I am trying to transfer my save files from one computer to another. I was able to locate my saves folder and I moved them to the new computer; however, when I booted up the game only one save showed up. I went back to the original computer and copied the save file path, but when I searched my computer nothing showed up. Is there something I'm missing? Obviously the files have to be on my computer somewhere, but I can't find where they are.

I am using a macbook air btw.

The folder in the screenshot is irrelevant and Origin related, stored in your Library folder.

Searching in Finder/Spotlight will not show you the Sims 4 folder if it is in the correct location, which it is (Document/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves), because it is hidden from a search for some unknown reason. That's why the Terminal search is more effective and the screenshot you posted shows it is in the correct location. How do you normally access your Documents folder?

Yes, sorry about that! I attached my saves folder, the route to that saves folder, and the file path for one of the missing saves. I can still play the save in game, but when I search the file path, nothing comes up. I just blocked out my name on the file path.

Maybe you have multiple saves folders.

Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:

    find ~ -type d -name "*saves*" 2>/dev/null

After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.

Okay I did that. Screen shot is attached.

I can see that there is another sims file, but when I tried to find it by searching "saves" on my computer the only folders that showed up were the first two for minecraft and the sims folder I could already find. I attached a screen shot of how I searched as well.

The game won't load anything in the Video Game Files folder. All saves have to be in Document/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves to load.

Okay, but my issue is that I can't find the Document/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves folder in order to transfer the saves to a new desktop. When I search for it, nothing comes up. When I tried to search for just "Electronic Arts," the only folder that came up was nearly empty (I attached a screen shot below). My game is playing the saves, so clearly they're somewhere on my computer, but I can't find where.
