Can't play after EA app switch!!

I have had Sims 4 for a long time now. I was a big Sims fan. Sims has went downhill quickly. Especially, since the new Inzoi beta release. The graphics, the performance, the ability to give the fans and customers what they longgg to see. But let me not mistake you, this is not a comparison of which one is better nor is am I saying sims just sucks. It is a great game. It could use a good update however. 

         What I am truly having a problem with though is every since the big app switch from iOS Origin (who had Origin longer when windows had no choice but to change, thank you for that btw) to EA you constantly have to keep updating the game. It is way to often, Origin would never. But because of that, I have to delete everything of my laptop for a freaking update. That's so stupid and especially since its so consistent and often and the updates are that big! Like do one big update ever so often and also why can't we play why are we forced to update. what if we don't want to update it yet? Every since Sims 4 got handed over to EA it sucks and I have been hard contemplating throwing it all away since I can't play anyway because I can't update it. When it was under Origin we could play whenever we wanted to and offline as well! And it was easier to turn it back online from in game if we wanted to see our library. To end this, I just want to say I miss Origin.
