Can't see sims in game, and Mods folder is missing its content

my mods will show at startup, and when i try to start playing i can't see my sims or interact with the bar at the bottom (refer to 2nd picture attached). heres the twist. i went into my sims 4 fol...

Using Mods/CC is always at the user's own risk. Are your Mods fully updated to be compatible with the latest patch version? As for them not showing up in your Mods folder, have you tried a search on your Mac for one of them? They have pretty unique file names so should be easy to find.
