cant update sims 4 because it says i have no internet connection

I can't update my sims 4 because everytime i try, origin says that i have no internet connection even though i do!!! i already tried to install and uninstall origin but it still does not work help pl...

What model Apple computer do you have? You can find the information in the black Apple logo on the upper left hand side of your screen. Do not include the serial number.
Also have you tried updating your Mac OS to High Sierra?
