@Bluru21 I can't tell if it's just been a long time since I looked at the game or not, but I did this and it actually really seems to have helped. After I restarted the game, I put it back on full resolution and slowly tested CAS from Low Medium back up to Ultra (where I normally play without issue). High is looking very smooth. Ultra is still a little laggy, but wayyyy more tolerable and playable (for me). And that's with many mods going.
I'm curious to see if this works for @candiecoatediv (hi, nice to see you 🙂 ), and/or someone with a more powerful machine who is also experiencing this.
Thank you so much @Bluru21, I so appreciate your attention to this thread.

I did try this again and I didn’t notice much difference and I don’t know if it’s because I had already done this step previously or not. What I can say is that for the last few weeks I’ve been able to go into CAS and there is very minimal lag if I set the edge smoothing to medium but everything else is on high which is how I’ve always played. Like really I hate to think that my love for the sims is so strong that I’m actually considering buying a desktop...😳
@twin-reverb-sims hi!!
