i have downloaded two tattoo sets for the sims 4. at first, the first one worked, but it was in the mods folder by itself. then it stopped working. then i added the second tattoo set, and followed directions; download the package file, copy it, then put it in the mods folder. i've redone that many times. i've tried deleting the folder and restarting the game, recopying the mods, everything. please help! note: i am using mac.

Did you recently update your game? Mods and CC disable itself when the game is updated, you have to re-enabled them in game's options.
Yes, I did just recently update, but I did re-enable. This is what my settings look like, please notify me if i have anything that needs to be checked or unchecked:
Everything looks fine. Please note that latest update changed a lot the CAS screen, the creator of the CC tattoos may need to update their set. I'd suggest contacting with them, as it's their creation 😉
Thank you very much for the help! But when I installed the tattoo sets, the update already took place beforehand. Do you know any websites that have free CC and mods that are compatible with the new update?
Well, the update is only 2 days old, so almost every mod related with the CAS may need to be updated. Also, CC should not be problematic, but as they're files created by users and no Maxis/EA, they can always trigger some issues.
