This issue now seems to be fixed in the 1.68.154.1220 November 2020 patch.

Thanks all for confirming it now seems to be fixed. If you start experiencing issues again please post 🙂

Yeah is there any update from EA regarding if this will be fixed before Snowy Escape? I would love to play it as soon as it comes out but scared that this issue will still be there. I'm honestly scared to play the game sometimes because of this issue.
