    This issue now seems to be fixed in the 1.68.154.1220 November 2020 patch.

    Thanks all for confirming it now seems to be fixed. If you start experiencing issues again please post 🙂

I second what BirteMn says. Same thing is happening to me and same time frame too. Ive tried everything listed in the workaround including upgrading to Big Sur which actually made the gameplay no different (as in it still had the graphical issues) but the computer doesn't lock up like it did in previous OS Catalina, i would have to fully reboot as the whole system was locked and even force close was not force closing, now on Big Sur in windowed mod I am able to force close and run apps in background easier. Unfortunately I will have to stop playing as the graphical issues/lag are just not worth the headache right now. 

Specs:

Mac OS Big Sur 11.0.1 beta

Processor: 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core 9 

Memory: 32 GB 

Graphics: Inetel UHD Graphics 630 / Radeon Pro Vega 20 (have turned off auto graphic switching and have gfxcardstatus installed)

All packs except Batuu, mods/no mods make no difference on the graphics issues
