To try and help understand what the issue is, and you are on a Mac, please can you provide the following:
- Attach the Config.log file from your Sims 4 folder
- If you have a lastCrash report in your Sims 4 folder from the game crashing since updating, please attach it (you may need to open in TextEdit first and just take out the "XML" in the first line before uploading)
- What exactly were you doing in game when this happened?
- If there is an error message before the crash please take a screenshot and attach it.
Since the latest patch, the game was ok for a couple of hours before the first crash, after which the game crashes every time around 10 mins in, no matter in live mode or in build mode. Attached please find the config log and the most recent two crash reports. Thanks!
Can't see the point of having pre-ordered the new pack if this issue isn't fixed in time ><

My game crashed again and this time i didnt travel anywhere and honestly it made the situation worse for me since i was thinking the issue might be about traveling but nope :/ I was having a keg party in my student housing then it crashed again without any error message. I also agree with @VivienneDelilah , i was so hyped about new expansion pack but under those conditions there is no point in playing the game because it is crashing just randomly and takes the fun away. My recent config and the newly added crash report:

The same exact thing happened to me. I was playing for about 40 minutes and my game crashed. It's been happening every single time I've tried to play since the 11.10.20 update, with and without mods (I removed them right before the update and after I went into my save for about 10 minutes, my game randomly crashed). It happed when I was in build/buy and just recently when I was feeding the cat a vet treat.
For some reason I keep getting the - The attachment's lastcrash.txt content type (text/plain) does not match its file extension and has been removed - Warning so I copy/pasted the text below
