[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 crashing since November 2020 update, NOT CC/Mod related

To try and help understand what the issue is, and you are on a Mac, please can you provide the following:

  • Attach the Config.log file from your Sims 4 folder 
  • If you have a lastCrash report in your Sims 4 folder from the game crashing since updating, please attach it (you may need to open in TextEdit first and just take out the "XML" in the first line before uploading)
  • What exactly were you doing in game when this happened?
  • If there is an error message before the crash please take a screenshot and attach it.

Hi, I also have the same issue on my MacBook Air. Never happened before. My active house's main entrance is on the second floor, for some reason my sim began to fail to enter his own house because he cannot use the stairs to go upstairs. Rest of the household also cannot leave the house because of the same issue. When I repeatedly assign action to go upstairs game crashed. I used to play with this house for a while before November update and everything was fine. I have attached the config and last crash files to this message. Thank you in advance!

    I had exactly the same thing yesterday! I also wondered why the Sims can't get up there!

      @SJ_Motschi I have no idea! The only thing I came up with is to move my family to a new home until this issue is fixed 🙂 Then I can move them back in. I love the house and don't want to reconstruct it because of an issue that I even don't understand 🙂

        I had the problem in a bar. So I don't think it's your house. I would first wait to see if this is fixed again with the patch.
        But you can also teleport them simply over the stairs with testing cheats true and a right click on the floor :D
