To try and help understand what the issue is, and you are on a Mac, please can you provide the following:
Same issue as others, game worked fine on Tuesday. Did the update yesterday and now it closes itself down after 3-15 minutes of gameplay.
Product: The Sims 4
Platform: Mac through Origin
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? every time the game is opened
What is your current game version number? unknown
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? it happens every time I open the game
What happens when the bug occurs? game just disappears with no warning, no freeze or error message. Then Mac gives me a report once it's 'closed unexpectedly'. Happens in Build and Live mode and no matter what the Sim/player is doing
What do you expect to see? that the game keeps working
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? no
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? yes, did the November 2020 update yesterday and that seems to be what started the problems
Have attached text from Mac report and my last crash data from the EA folder. I don't know how to get the Config.log, but it you can direct then I'm happy to provide
