[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 crashing since November 2020 update, NOT CC/Mod related

Yes. I did try the audio workaround. It worked for about 20 minutes, (which is longer than it did before) but it eventually froze instead of crashed. It would not unfreeze so I had to force quit the application.

@sweettweetyb13 My game also decided to freeze instead of crash after I tried the -nosound workaround. Yesterday I played with nosound just fine, but today it froze for the first time during this whole debacle instead of crashing. I had to also force quit.
