Display Type Refuses to switch to Fullscreen

I’ve been playing on my set up for years (macbook pro w/ m1 chip) plugged into a 4K Dell monitor with no issues.

Today, I plugged my computer in and the game won’t allow me to play fullscreen. Even if it looks fullscreen, the Display Type says “windowed.”

I’ve done the good old off and on again, I’m decently tech savvy so usually feel like I could figure this out.

I just want my in game settings to match my computer display (3840x2160) but it woooon’t happen.

It being “fullscreen” but actually windowed is affecting my edge scrolling and other in game features.
