I see I am having a similar issue of my game crashing when loading like many of us. Hopefully the number of complaints get us some kind of help.
Every thing is updated, refreshed, and cleared. All mods and CC have been tested and removed, but my game still won't launch. HELP?!
I'm having the same issue! I've never used the forum before, glad I came for help. At least it's not only me! I had MCCC installed & Basemental Alcohol, I removed both and it's still happening for me too. Hopefully there's a fix soon.

If your issue is purely mod related, and a clean vanilla game works you need to post in the Mods forum - The Sims 4 Mods & Custom Content | EA Forums
