I tried that, but it didn't work. What I got was the following:
-bash: /de: Permission denied
Quinns-MacBook:~ typhonisking$
I am the only user on this Mac so, I'm not sure why it says Permission denied. But that's what came up

Quinns-MacBook:~ typhonisking$

That's all? How bizarre. Don't touch that folder, leave it well alone 🙂 Try this instead for the Sims 4 folder:
find ~ -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/null

Ok. That got me:
/Users/typhonisking/Applications/The Sims 4.app
/Users/typhonisking/Applications/The Sims 4.app/Contents/Resources/The Sims 4.app
/Users/typhonisking/Desktop/The Sims 4 Packs
/Users/typhonisking/Desktop/The Sims 4.app
/Users/typhonisking/Desktop/The Sims 4.app/Contents/Resources/The Sims 4.app
/Users/typhonisking/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4
