ERROR CODE 0

Hello, I keep getting "The game failed to save. Error Code:0" on my sims 4 on Macbook and I can't save any of my games, I have no mods on my game and I've been wanting to enjoy playing the game, but I haven't been able to because it doesn't save all of my content. Can someone please help me with this? I've deleted the game and downloaded it again and still it doesn't work, I am not sure what the issue is? Thank you so much

System Settings > Privacy & Security > Files & Folders make sure the game has access to your Documents folder.

If you have any antivirus or blocking software running make sure it is not interfering with the game needing access to the Sims 4 folder.

@Bluebellflora By the way, this is what it looks like now, after adding The Sims and EA to "full disc access", so they are there, but I can't add any folders. So odd.

Yeah, Full Disk Access is the nuclear option and grants apps access to everything. It shouldn't be necessary but for some reason EA think it is.

I think your issue is the wider problem with this error code 0 bug. Can you click the Me Too button in the opening post in the bug report? I'm going to lock this thread to avoid any confusion with the ongoing issue. Sorry we couldn't fix it with permissions ☹️
