@simsllama To make the Reaper rewards reappear, try removing the accountDataDB.package file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. I haven't seen any cases where this is related to the esc key not working, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

@simsllama Does your computer run Windows or macOS? Does the esc key work normally outside the game? Please test it after you've opened Sims 4 and noticed the esc key not working.
Yes to both. I noticed that it started happening when I was in buy mode and when I switched to live mode esc key couldn’t open options menu. However it was after a while it started working, so im not sure what happened, maybe it’s related to that event with reaper rewards which now stopped displaying in the top left corner?

It reappeared again thank you 🙂 Apologies for not answering clearly, yes my computer runs macOS, it's a M1 Pro laptop
