It turns out there was indeed a fix for this issue in todays' patch (Mac version 1.95.207.1230), but we accidentally failed to mention it in the patch notes.

I am also experiencing this after upgrading my MacBook to Ventura OS. My saves haven't been affected as of yet as long as I save first before force quitting. I do use mods and cc. My game is currently updated with the latest patch.

EA actively read threads in this Mac forum. This is affecting all users with Intel Macs who have upgraded to Ventura so I’m sure they are aware of it. Just because they haven’t posted here doesn’t mean they aren’t aware of the issue 🙂
