[FIXED] Upgraded to macOS Ventura - can only Force Quit the game

I have upgraded to Ventura and I can only exit the Sims 4 via Force Quitting. I saw the other thread about disabling origin in game, but it has still not fixed my issue. Is there any other possible f...

    Hello.

    It turns out there was indeed a fix for this issue in todays' patch (Mac version 1.95.207.1230), but we accidentally failed to mention it in the patch notes.

@nonexistence8901 Sadly, if this issue is not fixed by January then I will be purchasing a cheap new computer. It feels like this isn't very high on EA's To-Do List (I have at least have not seen them give an update besides that they are aware of the issue). It's truly not fair but I ever since the issue has started it has become quite frustrating to play the sims.

@msdaisy22 IMO buying a new cheap computer won't help much. I just updated to ventura yesterday and realized this was a known issue and it's very discouraging. I am thinking of reverting my OS back for now but that brings its own issues (this was done due to issues with Adobe Lightroom and one of the tech requirements is to ensure all OS/programs are UTD)

But I wanted to comment on yours specifically b/c I agree that when these issues are coming up, EA has not made much stride in resolving. I was shocked to see how long this is going on. The glitches in game are worse than ever but to have an issue like this is pretty significant. I feel so disappointed in EA games personally. Their rush to improve and sell more packs really has caused so many issues in the game that it is difficult to play now. I do not want to force quit my game every time I want to play. That's a terrible work around IMO.
