game continuously returns to world select after loading up

(on mac fyi) okay, so this may be due to a glitch with cc but i am unsure, i downloaded some ccs that were all seemingly compatable with eachother before this happened, and it hasnt happened other times i downloaded many ccs at once, but the game works properly at first, but when i try to play my household (any of them) it keeps taking me back to the world select, im unable to fix it, i tried restarting the game and im unsure what to do, apologies if this is worded in a confusing way,  i have dyslexia which makes it hard to word things, my apologies
