hello!
I have a fairly new Mac Book Pro and was playing the game when it just crashed and all my hard work, down the drain. im so hurt i have no interest in playing anytime soon. i dont know what caused the crash because i have no CC, but do have all the expansions/stuff packs to include the newest expansion pack. this was the second time it has done this within the last 3 hours of playing.

Which exact model Mac do you have? Model, year and macOS version please.
What surface is your Mac on when you play?
There should be a lastCrash report in your Sims 4 folder, or several. Please copy/paste the contents of the most recent here.
I feel your pain. I will pass along a very obvious solution. Save and save often. Especially when building. You can also upload the partial build, as you go along to your library in the Gallery. That way if the game crashes, you can at least retrieve a part of your build.
