Crash
hi. I updated and repaired my game, but when I go to the main menu and click on new game, the screen stays white, nothing happens no matter how long I leave the game open. When I click on load game and select a house to move in, in a world, the loading screen shows and nothing happens just like when I say new game. What should I do?
Stuck on loading screen
Hello, Since about 4 days my game keeps getting stuck on the loading screen. When this happens differs, but I don't really know why. Sometimes it will get stuck before getting to the main menu, other times I already played (and traveled) in gameplay and then all of a sudden when traveling to a different lot it won't load. I've deleted all my mods and even deleted a save file and started a new one. It keeps happening. What can I do about this?
The sims 4 not updating at all
So, I've been trying to update my game ever since the new update came out, but it is stuck on preparing, calculating time, ever since then. I tried downloading the update the same day it came out as I always do and this has never happened before. I tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the ea app, I'm at the point where I'm considering uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, but will probably take hours to do so I don't really want do do it, also some thing very weird when it's in this state of eternal preparing the ea app just closes out of no where, like nothing happened, I don't get a pop up that the app crashed or anything it is just not open anymore. By the way my game is on a external hard drive, but there's nothing I can do about it cause is the only way I can play, because my computer dose not have enough space to download the game and I still be able to use it for anything els. I don't know what to do any more.
I can't load a game bc the menu is going funny
So I load into the menu and all icons are squished up and I can't press anything maybe I have a bad mod or something I just wanna fix it so I can play. oh I have just paused to take a screenshot but now it has reset I have lost all the saved games I need help I'm going to try to reopen the game and stuff.
Sims 4 won’t launch after update on mac
Hi there! My game won’t launch on my Mac after the update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Mods are gone. I’ve tried repairing the game. I’ve been searching for answers for 8 hours, nothing is working. Mostly what I’m seeing is for PC and I play on my Mac. Has anyone figured out what to do and how to fix? The game Main Menu opens fine, but then I get the spinning plumbob of death forever. Help please
Sims 4 game wont launch
i just downloaded the sims 4 game and ea app a couple of hours ago and my game wont launch at all i have no custom content or anything and my game wont launch i'm playing on a macbook air 2020 which i'm pretty sure is compatible, but other than that my game will not launch every time i try to launch it pops up on the sidebar then disappears and says "application not responding" i've already cleared cache, repaired the game, restarted my macbook and updated it i've done everything and it still wont launch does anyone have a fix for this i really want to get back on this game.Game was Running Great, Until EA APP Updated
So, my game was running great, until I received a notice the EA App on my MacBook was updating. After that, my game wouldn’t load. I removed all the mods, tray files, and saves, and still the game is malfunctioning. I deleted both the EA App and the game. Downloaded the EA App and the base game again, and still the game is malfunctioning. It freezes, takes a lot of time to load. Tried repairing it, and the problems persist. If I force quit the game then try to open it again from the EA App, it won’t work. I press the play button, and nothing happens. It seems there is a software conflict between the new EA App and my MacBook. My MacBook is fully up to date and I have the newest version of the EA App. Just to be clear, these problems persist without mods, saves, or tray files; they persist after I repair the game, after I delete the electronic entertainment folder and everything inside, and after I deleted and redownloaded both the EA App and The Sims 4 base game. What is the problem?
