game crashes on startup [m1 mac]

hello,

i'm writing here because i've tried every other option. my game worked perfectly fine until a couple of hours ago, but now everytime the sims 4 loads after the startup screen it crashes. i have already adjusted the "fullscreen" and "verticalsync" values in the options.ini file, and repaired the game through origin and nothing has worked. i've also backed up my mods, plus save and tray files, and tried starting a clean copy of the game in case something i installed was corrupted – it still won't load.

i'm on an m1 mac running os monterey 12.3.1!
