Many things are wrong and it keeps changing. Often I cannot open the EA app at all. It gives me a gray screen and loads endlessly for indefinite periods of time. Occasionally, after crashing a few times, I'm finally able to open the app. Then I can try opening the Sims. However, this also crashes. It's given me the error codes 106 and 108, as well as another error code that is allegedly due to antiviral software interference-- but I deleted my antivirus software and it did not fix the issue. The one time that it actually let me open the Sims, it loaded forever. At last it showed me the home screen with my sims. But when I attempted to load my save, it said that I needed to download the required expansion packs... even though I checked on the EA app and all of the expansion packs were already downloaded. I tried restarting the game and this time it wouldn't even let me open the game at all, it just kept crashing.
I have tried restarting my computer, updating my computer, clearing space, updating the game, repairing the game, deleting & reinstalling the game, deleting & reinstalling the launcher, removing the Mods folder, and even launching a vanilla game as instructed. None of this has worked.
