Game doesn't launch on the new EA app

Hi! My game was working fine until yesterday, and then randomly stopped working. I was forced to move to this new app a few days ago. I hit play, the Sims icon pops up as if it is launching but the...

    Move the Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop, or rename it, then try to launch the game.

Hi! @Bluebellflora 🙂

Is it common to lose the saves when you move the folder to desktop? and from now on is not connected at all to EA app? so no updates or dowloading community content?

Just had this question in mind, I don't understand why such a hard path just to play this game hahaha XD
