Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162
Did you try a whole new Sims 4 folder and not just a clean Mods folder? - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163

dual core intel Core i5
and yes I tried to remove The Sims 4 file under Electronic Arts and still did not work. I am also aware that there are a lot of simmers who are experiencing the same issues or even more.

@Oriphyne
Amount of memory (RAM) too please 🙂 Also, how much storage space do you have left?
The Sims 4 is not a file you should be moving to the desktop but the whole Sims 4 folder in the Electronic Arts folder, and not putting any of your current saves and mods back in until you have thoroughly tested a new clean game.- Oriphyne4 years agoNot applicable@Bluebellflora Yes the folder sorry that's what I did. I'm thinking of uninstalling/reinstalling the whole thing and see if it will work or not. I'll try doing the test runs again with a new folder of ts4.
