Amount of memory (RAM) too please 🙂 Also, how much storage space do you have left?
The Sims 4 is not a file you should be moving to the desktop but the whole Sims 4 folder in the Electronic Arts folder, and not putting any of your current saves and mods back in until you have thoroughly tested a new clean game.

@Bluebellflora update, i deleted the whole TS4 folder and started the game anew, but even in startup and CAS, it keeps on freezing.
