Game not launching

I downloaded sims 4 from EA app, and installed it. Opened the game, created a sim and clicked play, its stuck there its loading loading forever, I am using MacBook Air M4 16 GB, I don't have anything added in graphics is that the problem?

    Force Quit the App to close it.

    Have you ever played before? What is in the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder, please post a screenshot making sure the Date Modified column is clearly visible.
