Game save files not on saves folder?

Had to wipe my Mac hard drive and now I can't find 5+ years' worth of progress saves. They should be in the saves folder in The Sims 4 folder which I have backed up on My Passport for Mac, and they a...

Hey Bluebellflora​, I did the Terminal thing and am posting the results below. For context, though, before I had to wipe the HD, I obviously backed up everything, so I tried pulling the saves from the folder I found on the external HD. It had the most randomest things, but 99% of the stuff and everything relevant disappeared, so that's why I'm asking on here as. last resort. I did spend some time playing after reinstalling, so I'm not sure whether these files I'm listing here are old or new- but probs the latter, that would make more sense, right? Anyways HUGE thanks in advance, srsly.

      Enter this command in Terminal:

      find / -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null

      It will take a while. Once the command prompt reappears it's finished.
