Instead of deleting a few random corrupted files, manually remaking the Sims 4 folder and adding your Mods back in, please try a completely clean uninstall and reinstall of Origin and the game:

    1. Uninstall the game via the uninstall option in Origin
    2. Manually uninstall Origin, full instructions here (don't leave out any files or the app itself) https://bluebellflora.com/how-to-uninstall-origin-on-a-mac/
    3. Rename or move the Electronic Arts folder currently in your Documents folder
    4. Empty the trash
    5. Restart your Mac
    6. Download Origin from here - https://www.ea.com/origin-for-mac
    7. Install Origin, making sure to uncheck the automatic updates option at login
    8. Download just the Sims 4 base game
    9. Open the game and play for a bit, checking it's working properly and not corrupted
    10. If the base game is fine, install each pack you have and load the game after each install to once again check it is not corrupted.
    11. DO NOT add any of your saves, tray files, CC, or any other content from your previous Sims 4 folder into the newly created Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder
