Game won't start with cc or mods installed
So, since the latest patch update I’ve been having a weird issue with my game... Whenever I play with any types of CC or smaller mods, my game won’t start! It goes to the screen that says "The Sims...

I have multiple folders inside the mods folder to try to keep track, is that not a good idea?
I think my storage is fine, but should I not have the EA files in the iCloud drive?

Ideally no. The file path should be [Users] > [your user account] > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 so the game is storing the data locally on your Mac only.
When your Mac starts running low on storage it will start storing everything exclusively in iCloud if you have iCloud Drive setup and the box ticked next to Desktop and Documents in System Preferences.
But your mod issue may be just that, a mod issue rather than directory issue.
