Grey boxes
After I updated the game I've had problems with the graphics (I think). The message wall is grey and really hard to read, and some of the icons are now turned into grey boxes. I had to empty my folde...

Let the game go through the loading screens, don't skip them. It's a known issue - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/POSSIBLE-BUG-UI-glitches-and-greyed-out-menus-after-April-patch/m-p/7819322#U7819322
It can also be caused by outdated UI Mods so if you have those, check they are up to date.
