Hard drive slow for sims 4

Hi! i have encountered an issue with my hard drive I have a lot of mods maybe like 30,000+ and I have a 2TB WD elements hard drive that I just bought everything  is working well but the loading time...

    I’m constantly chopping and changing drives but have been using a Samsung T7 for the last few months and really like it. Very fast and very small and lightweight 🙂

That’s not all the info provided in Apple > About This Mac. Please provide it all, not including the serial number.

memory - 8GB 1600mhz DDR3

startup - Macintosh HD

graphics - intel HD graphics 6000 1536 MB

    Yes it is. Same port as the Thunderbolt.

    Ah you’re right, it’s the old style. In which case you’re limited by the speed of the USB connection you’re using.
