I'm trying to install Origin and the sims 4 on my school mac. It's telling me to instal a helper tool, which I cannot do without knowing the administrator username and password. Obviously I cannot reset it, so is there any way to get around it?
You must be using an Administrator account to install anything on a Mac. Besides, quadratic equations can also provide hours of fun 😛

you want to install it on your shool mac? I would really reccomend to pay attention in class and not to play Sims. The time you need to study at home to learn the stuff you missed in class comes out to the same: better pay attention in class and play after school.
But anyways, i found a thread that may help you fixing your issue.
