How to make a mods folder for sims 4

I have a Mac and to save space on it I have my sims installed on an external drive (so i can run other programs faster while in class as well). Im having problems installing mods as i can not find the folder for mods. how do i proceed? how can I install mods on my sims if it's installed on an external drive.

The Mods folder is recreated when you launch the game. If it isn't the first time you relaunch, make sure CC is enabled in your in-game options then quit and relaunch.

Your Mods folder is in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 which is stored locally on your Mac. This is separate to where the game is installed.

There is no folder there because I accidentally deleted the folder.. I still have all my cc files, however.

Hi I do not have a mods folder and I have relaunched the game I am not sure what to do but I am very upset
