How to rotate flooring in sims 4 on Imac

I am using an Imac 2023, and I can not figure out how to rotate the direction of the flooring or do the quarter pieces/ triangular pieces either. I have tried "<" ">"   ","  "."  I have tired option + F4 for the quarter pieces. None are working. What do I do? What am I supposed to press on my Imacs keyboard?

    Thanks. Have you modified any of the keys in System Settings? The < and > keys are the correct keys to rotate floor pieces. Not sure why you're using Option and F4 key to make quarter pieces, the controls are CTRL and F.

    I have not modified the keyboard settings. Do I need to press control or option when I press < >

    Hey! I have the answer 🙂
    So you need to make sure you're selecting only individual tiles, not the entire room. Then, press the < or > keys to change the direction of the wood. You'll have to fill in all the tiles manually which is a bit annoying, but I hope this helps!
