I also have this issue, it's been like this since the update.
Have you found a fix for this? Having the same issue but for all content not just free.

"This issue was caused after patch 1.125 by the weerbesu mod UI Cheats Extension, which was added to the Broken Mods list. On July 4, the mod was updated to version 1.5.6.
• If you use mods, please note that most patches will break some mods that interact with the game's UI. "

Hello, UI Cheats Mod by Weerbesu broke after the update. Uninstall the mod and should work.
