I can't close my sims 4 game

My sims game was messed up and the ui was all mixed around and not working. I decided to ignore it and open cas and see what the new update was like only for my screen to turn completely black aside ...

    nevermind it is all good i forgot that my mac has a button for turning it on and off

    The game is not closing and i've fully deleted the sims 4 folder.

      Yes, you stated the game is not closing in your OP. Have you not force restarted your Mac to close the game?

        The game does not allow me to restart my mac and i don't know how to force restart my mac
