I can't open the sims 3 launcher

Hi! I uninstalled the sims 3 from my mac to download them on an external hard drive and when I tried to play a window appeared with "unknown error occurred" I tried a couple of times and it was always the same, I can´t see the launcher. So I installed the sims again in the mac, but the window appeared again. I've been searching in a lot of forums and I didn't find a solution ☹️. I have a macbook pro with El Capitan and the game worked correctly before I uninstalled it. What can I do? Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

PD: I found a solution that worked for most people that is to go to the library-preferences-thesimspreferences and remove it but I don't have that folder and I also tried to open the game without the launcher and then appears this "unable to start the game, service initialization failed" :S
